UN-BELEBT

Photographie ist für mich die Kunst des Augenblicks, in dem Menschen und Dinge erstarren und zu ungewollten Stillleben werden. Belebt und unbelebt drücken sie Brüchigkeit und Irrationalität aus und daher umso menschlicher.
Wenn Kunst in der Veränderung der existierenden Dinge besteht, dann bringt die Photographie das Neue hervor, das immer schon bestanden hat. UN-BELEBT will die Zeit still stehen lassen, oder zumindest dort aufhalten, wo verstohlen Zeit auf Zeitpunkt folgt und sich Ereignisse mit Begebenheiten abwechseln.

IN-ANIMATE

For me, photography is the art of the single moment, when people and things are frozen by the camera's lens, becoming studies in unwanted still lives. Whether animate or inanimate, they express both the fragility and the irrationality of the human condition. And in that expression, these objects of art become even more human, even more fragile, and even more timeless.
If art exists for defining the change of the existing, then photography helps to understand the essence of what has always been present in the IN-ANIMATE. IN-ANIMATE wants to let time stand still —or at least to let it sojourn for a brief moment. Clandestine time follows moment, and incidences metamorphose into events that help us contemplate our own timelessness.

IN-ANIMÉ

Pour moi la photographie est l’art de l’instant, pendant lequel les hommes et les choses se pétrifient et deviennent, involontairement, des natures mortes. Animés et inanimés, ils expriment la fragilité et l’irrationalité et sont donc encore plus humains.
Si l'art consiste à changer les choses existantes, la photographie révèle la nouveauté, qui était déjà présente. IN-ANIMÉ veut freiner le temps ou au moins, l'arrêter à ce point, où le temps, furtivement, suit le moment et où les faits se métamorphosent en événements.
